Ingredients
- 60ml white rum
- 30ml fresh lime juice
- 10ml sugar syrup
- 6-8 mint leaves
- Soda water
- Ice
Method
1. Add the rum, lime juice, sugar syrup and mint leaves to a shaker filled with ice.
2. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
3. Top up with soda water and garnish with a sprig of mint.
Potential changes & improvements
Try adding a splash of fruit juice or cordial for a fruity twist. Or, for a more sophisticated cocktail, use a good quality aged rum.
