Torta al Cioccolato


-1/2 cup (120 ml) of vegetable oil
-2 cups (250 grams) of sugar
-4 eggs
-1 cup (100 grams) of unsweetened cocoa powder
-1 teaspoon of baking soda
-1 cup (240 ml) of hot coffee
-2 cups (250 grams) of all-purpose flour


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9×13 inch baking pans.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the oil and sugar. Add the eggs and whisk until well blended. Add the cocoa and baking soda to the hot coffee and stir until dissolved. Add this mixture to the sugar mixture. Add the flour and mix until well blended. Pour the batter into the prepared pans.

3. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Cool the cake before serving.
