These delicious little burgers are the perfect party food! They’re easy to make and can be tailored to your liking with different toppings and fillings.

  • 500g lean beef mince

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 small slider buns

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together beef mince, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form mixture into 12 small patties.
  4. Place patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Place patties on buns and top with your desired toppings.

Potential changes & improvements

For a different twist on these sliders, try using ground chicken or turkey instead of beef. You could also add some shredded cheddar cheese to the beef mixture before cooking.

What other food it works well with

These sliders would be great with a side of roasted potatoes or sweet potato fries. A simple green salad would also be a refreshing accompaniment.

Common Mistakes

One mistake people often make when making burgers is overcooking them. Be sure to cook the patties until they’re just done, as they will continue to cook a bit more once they’re out of the oven.
