Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta
This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta is a delicious and easy to make dish that can be on your table in under 30 minutes! It is a great weeknight meal or even for entertaining. This dish can easily be made vegetarian by omitting the chicken.
Ingredients:
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1/2 onion, diced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
• 1 pound chicken, cooked and shredded (optional)
• 1/2 cup white wine
• 1/2 cup chicken broth
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 pound pasta
• 1/4 cup chopped parsley
Method:
1. In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the chicken, if using, and cook for a few minutes until it is heated through.
3. Add the white wine and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for a few minutes.
4. Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted.
5. Add the pasta and cook until it is al dente, according to the package directions.
6. Stir in the parsley and serve.

If you want a bit more of a kick, you could add more red pepper flakes or even some crushed red pepper flakes. You could also add some chopped sun-dried tomatoes. If you want a creamier sauce, you could add more heavy cream or even some half and half.
